Boquet was appointed to the Emergency Preparedness Subcommittee for the Governor's Advisory Council on Disability Affairs. The appointment recognizes Boquet's expertise in disability, transition and emergency preparedness, including her current grant-funded work developing emergency preparedness curriculum for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
LSU launched AI Literacy Essentials, a free online course that provides a general introduction to artificial intelligence (AI) and how to use it effectively, professionally, and ethically. CHSE faculty Jacqueline Bach and Edward Benoit III are featured as experts shaping the content.
Bijou, LSU Lutrill & Pearl Payne School of Education doctoral student and CEO of Einstein Charter Schools, was named to Gambit's 2026 "40 Under 40" list, an annual recognition honoring emerging leaders who are making a significant impact throughout the Greater New Orleans region.
